School Daze. What's new?

School seems so crazy anymore. Kids hardly get a summer vacation. Some have been back for a week already, some this week, then next week, and others wait til after Labor Day.

But this one on the Chicago news was weird. A school will alternate students by class, grade and age. One group will start classes at 6:45AM. Their lunch is scheduled for 8:45AM. LUNCH!!!!! That groups school day ends at Noon. Yikes.

public school starts here Monday
I started working with Jasmine last week, but it's been this week that we've actually sat together and did schoolwork.

We've been in school for 2 or 3 weeks here ! Some systems are trying a 4 day week to fight budget cuts and inflation . Also ,block scheduling ,new.

The school I work with (through my job) started back a week ago. The teachers were back a week before that. I remember starting back after Labor Day when I was in school. Makes the summer seem like its gone when school starts back!
