Singing in the Rain

 The past couple of days have been hot & very humid here.  A few minutes ago we had a light shower.  It was one of those things that while walking you slow down your pace.  It felt so good.  A few cool drops hitting your warm skin.  Ahhhhh.  No need to rush; you'll be dry by the time you get back home.  Peaceful, warm & cool at the same time.

It's a great Monday so far.  Another smile to add to my list  :)

i can do a video, brenda. the problem is i have no idea how to edit to upload it!! the one i did of mackenzie was only a few seconds long from my digital camera. if i did it with the video camera; i'd be lost!! i'm techno challenged!! :)

It has been rather hot and muggy so I can imagine how nice that rain felt during your walk this morning. We had some real downpours this afternoon though so I'm glad you got your walk in early. :)

we're suppose to get the downpour tonight. we can use the rain, but we're also expecting high winds. we'll see what happens.

i love the rain, thunder & lightening. i stay inside to watch the light show that mother nature provides. the rain today wasn't even a shower; it was more like a mist, lol. it was wonderful. have a wonderful night, lee. :)

I did get Mail today... I won't be able to watch til tomm. but thank you so much.

we're running a tight schedule today... in 15 min. have to run to the oral surgeon for my son's check up. then must collect my family and sisters to run into Newton to pick up my other sister and head into Boston for dinner. My cousins' cousin is leaving tommorrow morning and wanted to meet with us before he left. and then I'll be able to come home and flop into bed.

good morning Michelle, are you up yet? today... I am making banana bread for breakfast. Then running to Target to return all of the Twin bedding for my son and buying "full size XL" for my son's college room. My hsbd needs glasses...

then running to the bank to fix "a little aggravation". and I'm sure I have more errands to do... Meanwhile, everyday is a pool party for my 15 year old and friends. It will be like this until we leave on friday for Montreal. How is your morning?

only been up for a little while. it was the first day the road crew wasn't out front blasting apart our street at 8 am. we went to a road commission meeting with a couple neighbors back in december. asking that our street be considered for repaving; we got our wish. lol

i'm smelling that banana bread right now.........mmmmmmmmmm.

i missed top chef masters. we ended up watching leverage & dark blue. there was a new season of project runway that was suppose to start tonight (last night now! lol) on a new channel. couldn't remember the channel. oh well.

haven't had a chance to listen to the cd yet. i'm going to work it into the schedule for tomorrow. :)

I've been so exhausted by night time, that I barely can talk, let alone think.

yest. my middle son lost his wallet. he has no idea where it is... I tried to have him go backwards in his mind, as to where he saw it last...men can't seem to do that as easily as females. So, today, I am going to have to rip through the house to try to find it. grrr.. we leave tommorrow.

he ended up finding it this afternoon. it was the second time he looked in his car!
I told him, there is only a few places in the house that he would have left it... I never panic of anything.. except bugs. :) He has his passport, and he had a second "paid for" license. (in the winter, he thought he lost it while snow blowing the driveway... so I ordered a new one... it was in his friends car. grrr..

lol......i was a brownie, but never made it to be a junior.

my girls started as daisy's & went through to seniors (blue uniforms!!). i was a leader for one or both of their troops for 11 years. lots of camping back then!!! we were prepared for anything! :)

we didn't use an actual iron for a grilled cheese. we did use a hobo stove, though. do you know what a hobo stove is?

i haven't been camping since girl scouts. i'd be ok if i could take a comfortable bed with me. the rest is a piece of cake. :)
