This Is What I Got For $2.08 At CVS Today

I know there are many CVS fans here at Gather, and I am definitely one of them. This afternoon the boys and I went to go get the newspaper, and to roll over our CVS bucks. The newspaper is $1.25, and I ended up spending a total of $2.08.

After CVS the boys and I got some free exercise, as we continued our walk to the park to have some free fun.

 

This is what I got at CVS for $2.08:

I always carry a mini notebook around for when I get writing ideas, so these mini composition books will do great. The headphones will be part of Roshane's birthday present, as he needs some for his leapster, and my husband has been asking for a stapler...now he will get two.

Question? On your website you said to "don't forget to print our your coupons at the cvs scanner." I am lost. I thought the scanner was what spit out the esb. Hmmm? thanks.

Cathie, I'm referring to the coupon scanners/price scanners that are placed in many CVS stores. Not all stores have one, and they are not always visible unless you look for them. You scan your CVS card, and sometimes you'll be lucky and get great coupons.

No problem Cathie, I'm writing these posts to give inspiration and help to others.

Sometimes they are at the end of a row, sometimes they are in the middle of the store. It really varies from store to store, and unfortunately not all stores have them. If you cannot find it, ask a CVS employee for directions.

Great deals. We went to CVS today, too. We got two packs of pen for my husband to use at work, two packs of filler paper, and 2 of the school boxes. We used ecb's from before, and paid like $.52 but got back more in ecb's than we spent.

My brother starts school tomorrow. My parents decided at last minute to go away until tomorrow night and my dad thought my bro could go to first day with nothing. That kind of annoyed me because he is in 10th grade and did really bad in high school last year because it overwhelmed him. He does not need the help of not being given at least the tools to do better this year. Thus I headed over to Office Max today with the 20% off bag and got him notebooks and an assignment book. It was not exactly that great a deal, but at least he can start school with the important stuff, especially the assignment book, so he can get in the habit of writing his assignments down or at least telling his aide to write them down.

I have to get going on my school shopping. My youngest boy leaves for college in less than 2 weeks! We have most of his bedding/bath/etc stuff ready for the dorm, but I need to get in on that CVS sale for the pens/pencils/notebooks/etc.

My daughter goes to kindergarten on Wednesday. I am a big sentimental type of person and I will probably be crying when I get to the car.

I am loving the freebies CVS is handing out right now. I'm bummed that I missed the Revlon from last week but hopefully I can make it to the store tomorrow to grab the freebies for this week.

I am new at shopping at CVS. The only store in my area just opened about 3 blocks from my house. I went in and got their card. I am hoping to get some good deals.
