After having a dream of making it, I decided that when I woke up I was going to teach myself how to make Pecan pie.
I grabbed my great grandmothers cook book, found the recipe, and began making.
To my suprise it wasnt that hard!
On the down side, I didnt have enough Corn surup according to the recipe, (I just used 3/4 of a cup instead of a full cup) I was a bit conserned it wasnt going to turn out.
But 50 minutes later, and my kitchen smelling like heaven, I pulled this out.
Last night we finnished it, after sharring with my mother in law. Whom says it was the Best Pecan Pie she has ever had! (and for the record, she's not one to lie about food!) lol
So, yeah, I am pretty proud, and the next time I make it to the Market I plan on picking up more Pecans!
