2 Bikes for Sale...Any takers??

I am so done with bikes!

Tuesday, I picked Conner up from daycare and the kids were so excited to show me that he could ride without training wheels.  He learned from the other kids at daycare.  He was so proud of himself and I was a little teary :~)  We got home and he couldn't wait to show his daddy.  He was riding around waiting for dad to get home and ended up crashing into the front of the neighbor's parked truck.  Dad got home right after...surprise!  He hurt his toe pretty bad (DON'T ride with flip-flops on!)  I ended up taking him to the ER.  I was thinking he may need stitches.  Thankfully, he didn't.  They cleaned it out really well, bandaged him up and sent us on our way.  Then, today, he crashed again and got some pretty good road rash on his knee and elbow.  Poor kid...but he still wants to ride, so that's good :~)

So today, Matthew was riding his bike, took a corner too fast and wiped out.  I just got home from taking him to the ER.  His hand, shoulder and ribs are really sore.  The doctor was sure his hand was broken, but all of the x-rays were clear.  He has some bruised ribs, a really swollen hand, and some pretty good road rash on his hand, which they scrubbed out.

Ahhh...the joys of motherhood.  Anyone want to buy a couple of bikes ;~)
