I think the point is to sit outside and watch your neighbor curse while they have to spend and hour plucking them out of the ground and not stepping on one while they are doing it

I think someone had a problem with the neighbors, and this was a way to say "Well, fork you!"

This pass-time is much more effective if the person you 'fork' keeps their lawn meticulously manicured !! But really ,plastic forks is so ''not cool'' !

I have never in my 55 years heard of such a thing! LOL! It's pretty funny, but I'd love to know what area of the country this sprung up in! Vickie's pink flamingo thing could be really hilarious, and I do think I've heard of that before (but never witnessed). But forking? LOL!

they will get knifed and spooned next. Never seen any thing like that before. Wouldn't have thought about doing something like that when I was a kid. If my step father would have beat me with his belt till I couldn't stand up, If one of his kids did it, it would have been funny.

People forked football fields when I was growing up. The way I understood it was, if you place enough metal forks in one are, you will kill the grass (the metal does something to the pH or something), so it is pointless - but still funny - to do it with plastic forks.

Apparently Lawn Forking is just an Ohio tradition. I'm amazed so many of you have never heard of it haha

Now go out and fork your neighbors yards :0) Arrange them to spell Gather.com even
