My husband and I love to go to the speciality, organic markets in town. Although these stores are a little pricy on some things, you can find some great deals if you pay attention and take some time to look. I particularly like them because evrything is fresh and organic. Now, I am not an organic freak, but a lot of the produce are items not necessarily found in regular grocery stores. Like these Organic Heirloom Tomatoes.

I love the bakery in these markets. The breads are so different and tasty. Ranging from seeded multi-grain breads to parmesan-garlic baguettes. (which we bought for Ed's AWESOME, homemade dipping oil) The baguette was on sale for $1.50, that's less than at our local grocer. And the cakes and pastries are scrumptous...check out these.

The cheese bar has every kind of cheese imaginable. From traditional American to exotic cheeses from around the world.

How about choosing from 20 different kinds and flavors of olives from the huge olive bar. A little of this and a little of that. Hard to make a decision.

Beautiful, grain fed, hormone free, organic meat lines the butcher cabinet. Beef, lamb, chicken, pork, buffalo and more tantalize your taste buds. What's for dinner tonight?

Along with all the food there are natural and organic health and beauty aids. They have a "Nature Bible" for viewing that is a huge book of natural cures that really work. I find it very interesting and always take a peek at it when I visit the store. I spent a long time "sniffing" my way through the natural hand made soaps. Wouldn't you just love to settle into a warm bath with a hunk of this soap? Hard to decide which fragrance smelled the best.

If you have never visited a natural, organic market, you need to put that on your to-do list. You won't be dissapointed.

My heirlooms are just starting to ripen.
I make my own soap. I wish I knew where to get one of those wavy knives they use to cut theirs. Nice shots! Thanks.
