Kate Gosselin was on the Today show this morning, and was interviewed by Meredith Viera.Â I guess Meredith asked some questions which hit too close to home for Kate.Â While Kate was, apparently, witchy to the show's staffers before the interview, after the interview was reserved for cussing out Meredith.Â Granted, the sources for this article are unnamed and the official show spokesperson came out with a "No, she was delightful!" rebuttal.Â However, we all know how this works - if they said, "Yes, she was unbearable and the unnamed sources are correct", NO ONE would want to be on Today.

Now, for my humble opinion:Â Kate is KLASSY, with a capital K.Â My God, she should be thankful that the Today show even wanted her on the air.Â I hate, hate, hate this woman... and I don't use the word "hate" lightly.

Well, I don't like either her or Jon, but the news media - and especially talk shows can be witchy, too. But I am certain she was witchy.

Anyone trying to raise eight small children would be witchy. If nothing else, this couple and octomom (who is going to get her point of it all TV exposure on Fox and I won't be watching) are posters for fertilization reform.

My sister has 8 kids (spaced over 18 years but the last 2 are a pair of autistic twins and she has an older son who had a stroke while she was in labor with him) and even she doesn't get as witchy as Kate - and IMHO, because of all the disabilities, she has a right to! And my sister and brother-in-law do it all themselves WITHOUT any outside help. (Kate has a small army of nannies who help with the kids that the TV show is forbidden to show on camera.)

But I totally agree regarding with you about Kate and Octomom. I can't believe that doctors are OK with providing fertilization treatments when you already have multiples or have several children at home. Then, again, neither really followed the "rules". When their original doctors refuse to help Kate less than 2 years after the twins were born, she simply found another one who would. Octomom is just plain nuts.

Oh, and before anyone lectures me about the benefits of fertilization treatments, I think they are a GODSEND for couples (like several of my cousins and friends) who are unable to conceive on their own. I just don't understand how you could have 2 or more perfectly healthy children and decide you MUST have more, and when you can't do it on your own, you go to a specialist for help.

And I sincerely hope this sort of nonsense is not covered by health care reform but you can see how it could get dicey.

Kate Gosselin reportedly very pleasant, easy to get along with, and the NBC Today Show staff had nothing but nice things to say about her after this morning's interview. Just kidding...
