1. Towels, washcloths, sheets, blankets- I try to buy them
when they are on sale. Usually we get them at Anna's,
they are very reasonably priced.

got one over the weekend, Little House On the Prairie.
my dd and I love watching it!!
in our area that sell new and used app. at GREAT prices
and they come with warranties.
for ex. we got our dryer used ( but wonderful cond.) for $100
and our Washer Brand new ( the are both whirpool) for $150
at a New/Used Appl. store, with FREE delivery and set up,
plus If anything happens to them, they will fix for a low cost.
we got our stove used, only 2 yrs old, it is a whirpool as
well, they put brand new top on it ( it has ceramic burners)
and it was $250.
They also fix it if something happens.
We are blessed that our house stays cool in the summer at 76 degrees. We are playing outdoors today and boy does it feel great stepping inside today! It is almost 100 here.
Yes, turn your ceiling fan switch up for summer and down for winter.
helps with the bill.
Right now is is 93 outside, going up to 105,so we have our air on 72 and
it very comfortable.

our a/c is set at 78 during the day when it's humid. a couple hours before bed, it's set for 74 then goes to 78 or 80 when we sleep. the house stays cool overnight with the good insulation & thermal windows.
i've never had curtains or drapes on my windows (we have blinds inside the windows), but i bought inexpensive curtains this past winter for all the bedrooms & it's helped with cold & heat.
a well insulated home helps too!
