Big Brother 11 is a bit strange without Ronnie as fake drama is out and real drama, well some at least, is in. Following his eviction everyone was happy that he was gone. Michele was obviouslly glad to see him go while Jeff was glad his enemy was gone. Some did feel some sympathy though, like Jessie, who lost his “wing man”, oh well. More issues were with Chima winning the HoH though as Natalie and Jessie tried to sway her to nominate who they wanted. For some reason they didn’t want her to put up Russell as he’s a “vote for them”, although I don’t see how that would be the case.
Talk of the mystery power was then brought up with some thinking it was Ronnie. According to the show, nobody really thought it was Jeff, but feed watchers know that isn’t the case as most think that Jeff has the power. The one person he wanted to tell the most feared the power the most, as Jordan thought that Michele had the power. Jeff wanted to tell her everything would be ok, but doing so voids his chance to use the coup d’etat. With the mystery power now in play Chima had to decide her nominations carefully. She talked with a few people about who to put up, Lydia, Michele and Russell’s names came up. It wasn’t really made clear WHO would be the second nominee alongside Russell but later that would become much clearer. Although she did say she wants a girl to win, which means it could prove she wants Russell to go.
For their second luxury challenge the cast was surprised by a special celebrity guest: Jeremy Piven. He was there to promote his new movie “The Goods” by simply being there. He talked with the houseguests a bit and joked around with them about being locked in the house. It seemed kind of ackward like he didn’t want to be there, or maybe just most of them didn’t know who he was. The challenge seemed like a fun one at least as the house split into two teams, facing off to jam items with the most points into the back of a station wagon. The team whose items added up to the most points would win the chance to see the movie and the chance to win money. Chima could also win a chance to see the movie by guessing which team would win and she chose Jordan, Russell, Natalie and Jessie. In the end that team did win, thanks to Jordan’s teddy bear, and Russell won $10,000, even more reason to vote him out now.
With the luxury out of the way and the Have Nots chosen, it was time for strategy talk which mostly featured Chima, Natalie and Jessie. Jessie still liked talking to Lydia and she forgave him for voting for her. That didn’t sit well with Natalie though who was upset that Jessie even looked at Lydia. The two had a small spat in the HoH room, with Chima watching, about Lydia and how Jessie can do “whatever he wants” with her. But Natalie won’t be happy if his “friend” screws her over. After some thinking Jessie returned to he HoH to forgive Natalie for his actions and to let her and Chima know that they are the only people he has. It was somewhat touching, for Jessie at least, but it made Chima realize the only issue in her alliance, and that is Lydia.
Following that fun chat between the power three it was time for nominations. Chima decided to nominate Lydia and Russell, putting Russell up for personal reasons while Lydia went up for strategic reasons. That’s her third time up so she knows the drill but Russell wasn’t too happy. He has a good chance of going home, but Jeff COULD save him. But will he? We’ll have to wait and see.
