YES! Another great day of sampling and sale shopping!

I had an enjoyable day at Publix today.  First I had to work - demonstrating Ritz Crackerfuls.  I really liked the crackers, although I admit to being disappointed (although not surprised) that they contain partially hydrogenated oils and high fructose corn syrup.  But the price!! Goodness! $3.49 for 6 crackers? I did have some $1 off coupons to distribute making them more affordable but I can't imagine buying them without really good sales!

Received a very nice compliment from the store manager. He's been at the store a very long time - I guess 10-15 years. He said I was the friendliest demonstrator they've ever had! That was nice to hear.  After all, it's  not hard to be nice when you're giving stuff away. But I've seen many demonstrators who never greet people and just sit there.

So...after that, time to do my own shopping. I ended up getting $149 worth of groceries for just under $67! Yay!  Lots of BOGO (buy one, get one free) sales with coupons, and a few things on their discontinued clearance shelf.

2 Breyers Ice Cream - BOGO for $5.13, less 2 coupons for $1 each, $1.56 each

Organic celery - $2.99 - no sale or coupon

4 Boxes of Success Rice, Jasmine - $2 each less 4 coupons for $1 off

2 Peter Pan Peanut Butter, 40oz - 2 for $7 less 2 coupons for $0.50 each

3 Pep. Farm Whole grain bread - sale for $1.99 less 3 coupons for $0.55 each

4 boxes Glad snack bags - $1.59 each less 1 coupon for $1.59

11 Campbells Kid soups - $1 each less 2 coupons for $0.50

2 Crisco Olive Oil - BOGO for $6.49 less 2 coupons for $1 off each

1 Sangria soda 2lt - clearance for $0.54

3 Elmers gluesticks (3 per pkg) - sale for 3 for $2

2 kids scissors - BOGO for $2.59

Bananas - $0.68

2 Heinz Gravy - clearance for 0.90 each

1 Folgers Decaf coffee pods - no sale but coupon for $0.50

1 Honeydew - $2.50

Also used a store coupon for $5 off $30 or more and $1 off any grocery item.

I was bummed because I thought they had Kellogg's products BOGO and I wanted to get the $10 rebate but I'll wait and see if I can't get them on sale before the rebate is up.
