He Isn't Happy

My husband is a huge Red Sox fan and they would be playing the Yankees. With us being home alone he was excited to be able to watch the game in peace and quiet. He planned on going to bed around 11ish.

The Red Sox went into extra innings with the score going into the 10th 0-0. This lasted for 15 innings! It was a good game, but he just left the room pouting because the Yankees won with walk off homerun.

The last thing he said before my good night kiss was "You'd think they won the World Series". He said this because the Yankees fans were cheering so loud.

He'll forget about it and be ready to watch another Red Sox game tomorrow...if their playing. I didn't dare ask. LOL

No,,,it is all in fun. He was only upset because he stayed up so late and then the Red Sox lost the game. lol

This one hurt. Sox need to take todays game to avoid falling 6.5 games back of the Stankees. The fact that A-fraud hit the walk off homer makes it even worse.

No offense, not a fan of NYY or Red Sox. I do admit that I get excited when the Yankees lose just because I have a friend who is supposedly knows some of the New York players and likes to rub my face in the dirt whenever they are on a winning streak.

Yep, they played again, and the Yankees swept them! Woo hoo! But still, your hubby has reason to be happy. The Yankees are ahead in the division, BUT in their head to head meetings this year, the Red Sox have won 8, and the Yankees won 4.
