Last weekend my company, Dandelion Studios, had a table at the Westford Comic Book Show in Westford MA. This show is run by Larry's Comics of Lowell MA.
This was our first local show in a while, and I was sharing the table with Joe McGlone, who designed the new Dandelion Studios website, and who was there promoting his webcomic, Heroic Space Adventures. Also joining us was Josh Sullivan of Josh Comics, who is currently on a yearlong road trip called the 52 Friends project.
The show was held at a very nice venue, the Westford Regency Hotel in Westford MA.

Josh was staying at my place ("Ogremoot"!) on Cape Cod, so we left bright and early to pick up Joe in Hanover and then headed up to Westford.

The show took up a couple of big rooms in the conference center. Here are Josh and Joe right after we finished setting up.

Here are the Dandelion Studios projects, as well as Katrina Joyner's Akashik comics. Katrina is the artist for the Dandelion Studios comic Kaeli & Rebecca. Akashik is her webcomic. The books compile the webcomic and are available in color and b/w. I've also done some dialogue writing for Akashik on occasion.

Here is some of Josh Sullivan's artwork, and the latest issue of his 52 Friends zine.

And here is some of the work in Joe McGlone's portfolio.

This was a really fun show, and we sold a decent number of comics. It was great for Josh to get a chance to do a show during his stay in Massachusetts. I'm looking forward to coming back to Westford. Their next show is November 29. Information is available at the Larry's Comics site.
