It was a dark and stormy morning...

I was really surprised this morning when we woke up to clouds and stormy looking weather. We are in our monsoon season here in Arizona, but if we get any weather it is usually in the late afternoon or the evening. We had to get up early this morning to go to doctor appointments and it actually rained enough on the way to use the windshield wipers. My dh was driving and I took these pictures out the window, so some of them are a bit blurry.

It started out pretty dark and stormy looking.

Then it actually rained a little bit. I think the white stuff in these photos is rain.

Then the darkness lifted and the rays of sunlight started coming through.

Within 2 to 3 hours the clouds were all gone and it was bright and sunny and 105 degrees. That is a lot better than the 110 to 115 degrees we have been having lately :)
