I had a wonderful Anniversary surprise, I went to the hospital

this afternoon, and Mark was off the respirator and having ice
chips. His kidney function (transplant) is a little off, but we are
hoping it is because of all the meds they used to take the
water from his lungs, and he hasn't had any of his anti
rejection drugs since Tuesday morning. They will start up
tomorrow morning maybe even tonight. He is in very good
spirits, so good to hear his voice again. I stayed a long while
and his dinner came, and he had a full meal, can't believe that
one, as it was meatloaf, mashed potatoes and string beans, tea with lemon, and low fat
milk, a pint I think, and vanilla pudding and a slice of bread with smart balance margarine,
(we use that at home so good to see it in the Cardiac Care Unit lol,) He ate everything on
that plate. The nurse said they might move him to a cardiac step down unit or a regular
medical room, depending on how he does in the morning. I am so happy tonight, Thank
you for all your prayers. I know he will be in there for a few more days at least, but I don't
care, he made it through those awful 48 hours.
The power of Prayer is an awesome thing, as I really was afraid for him, and I think you
could tell. Thanks again, from Mark, his family and Billy and me.

You should sleep better tonight!
kidney function is way out of whack , they think it may be from dehydrating him, and are now giving him some fluids to help him out, hopefully it will return to what was good for him. He is also going to have a local cardiologist now which is good, one Bill and I have used, and I am hoping that medications will be coordinated better, thanks for the Prayersl
Bill and Tracey both gave a helping hand, as well as all my friends.
and it reminded me of someone who had prayed for me just a few weeks ago regarding a certain matter, and I cannot begin to tell you how significantly God helped me. To this day, I still feel the strength of God helping me through this situation. I will "always" believe it was because of this "particular" person's prayer that help came through God. Sometimes our help comes through the prayers of many, while other times it comes through the prayer of "one" who prays with intentionality. I still light a candle for this one who prayed this prayer, and I pray that God will bless him for the time he took to pray that very special prayer for me.
God Bless You ~ Love ~ Barbra
I do hope you now take a load off and just rest a lot. You have been through a lot lately.
Love you Norma
Sorry to hear his lungs are filling up again and that his kidneys seem to be failing after he seemed to be ok and off the respirator. I will keep him and you all in my prayers, Elsie...
God bless.
