American Idol

We have all heard the news and I waited to write this article checking the facts. Its clear that things could change, but I think its over now. What am I talking about some of you are wondering, as we all know this is a hit show on the FOX Network.

Paula Abdul is leaving the show and the Chairman of FOX Entertainment Peter Rice has stated she turned down a raise. There is talk that she could be moving on to another television show; however, there is no proof of this happening.

Will you miss Paula on American Idol? Will this make the show gain more viewers?

I just saw this on the news last night and was thinking that was going to happen when they brought that other woman in.

Surely you realize that tv executives are putting a nice spin on something they don't want made public. Whatever they put in the news about it isn't. Who knows what the truth is. My guess is that Paula was asked to leave.

I don't think AI will be the same without Paula. I really didn't care for Cara/Kara that much. Paula gave the show a certain "warmth" that will be seriously lacking now.

I think that Paula's personality was the perfect balance for Simon and Randy. I don't care for Cara at all and I don't think the other fans will like her as much as Paula either.
