Amber Alert Update: Haleigh Cummings' Father Arrested On Brglary Charges

Ronald Cummings was arrested and booked into the Putnam County Jail on burglary and assault/battery charges Thursday morning. Bond has been set at $12,500.

The Associated Press is reporting Cummings was arrested after an altercation with Misty Croslin's brother. Misty Croslin is Haleigh Cummings' mother. Croslin was taken to the hospital complaining of head and neck injuries.

This whole case is strange. I don't understand why there's no evidence of any kind.
If I recall, Misty is not the mother, but the seventeen year-old girlfriend that Mr. Cummings has since married.

Misty married Ronald Cummings.
But she was with Haleigh when she went missing. The mother is divorced from Mr. Cummings and lives elsewhere. Misty was only seventeen at the time of the abduction, so she wasn't the mother.
The case was in the news almost as much as the Caylee Anthony case was, in this area, since they are both local cases, for the most part.

That's correct, Julie. Misty is Haleigh's stepmother.
