Finally made it to Sea World again...

I've been wanting to go to Sea World again for a while, but every time we have time to play, my husband either decides to go to Universal Studios again, or he "accidentally" takes a wrong turn and we end up at Universal...

But this past weekend, we finally did what I wanted to do. And, sadly, it was too hot to be enjoyable, for the most part, and too busy to find a place to cool off. I didn't even make it to Pacific Point, where the Sea Lions are.

We didn't stay long, but I did get some great roller coaster shots and also these landscape shots. Now, I realize the landscaping is anything but natural, but whoever is in charge of it still did a wonderful job, and I love it. When I came home and downloaded my photos, I selected one of them for my desktop wallpaper, and my husband took another of them...

Beautiful! Truthfully, landscaping is never natural is it? I haven't been to Sea World in a while. It is hard to buy tickets for something, when I get in the other place free. We are actually spending a couple nights at the Renaissance Sea World in September, but we will be going to Food and Wine at Disney.

I don't blame you at all, Sue... we have annual passes at Sea World, and it costs us $16 a month for both of us or we would never go. For us, it's cheap entertainment.

I like it a lot too, J M. It's a bit slower paced than Universal and not nearly so chaotic as Disney.

Wow, those landscape photos are awesome!! I stayed at the Renaissance across from Sea World years ago, but didn't get a chance to visit Sea World.

It's definitely worth a visit if you ever get a chance. It's the least expensive park around here (also the smallest.) That's not to say it's cheap...

I think the landscaping looks fantastic. I love the planters that look to be "floating" in the water.

Kat the day I took these was the first day that I could actually see the pedestals on those planters. I knew they weren't really floating, but they sure seemed to be!

Looks lovely. One of these days maybe I'll get down there. It's so hard. My list of places to see is so long, and money is just so tight not to mention only getting vacation time at a certain rate per pay period, and then getting it approved.
