2009 Family Vacation Part 2 - More Photos of the Kids Playing in the Hotel Pool (a photo essay by Kimber L.)

Welcome to the second in my vacation photo essay series, if you missed part one you can find it here: here.

This one is just some more shots of the kids playing in the hotel pool and fountain at the Orlando Hyatt Regency Airport Hotel.  I took tons of photos on this entire vacation from the hotel and airport, through each of our ports of call, through everything we did on the ship through our final day on it - it will take several essays to get through it all! LOL

Now onto more of the pool photos...

While Dzia Dzia (Stan - Matt's Dad) and Greg (Matt's brother) share conversation and cigars - and yes that is my handsome husband in the background...

Here is the trolley that takes people from the checkin/luggage claim area to the boarding gates and vice versa....

I love this shot of Lily the flippers are so cute - by the way what do you all think of her "big girl" hair cut (I have no idea how we are going to get it into a bun for her ballet classes - but I think it is adorable and she made a great choice to have it done)??!!!!LOL

 

Flippers are funny - and as I found out at Castaway Cay later in our adventure they are very hard to walk in!

THE RACE.... LOL Gretchen and Cooper are on the swim team - our kids are not.  They were having races....

... at which Lily tried to cheat! LOL The fountain and her CONSCIENCE slowed her down ha ha ha haha.

Sometimes it is hard to get a shot with both kids/subjects smiling!!!!! (Gretchen and Drake)

Next installment coming soon - it will be a FEW more pool shots - not many I promise - and then some shots of the airport inside (where we had breakfast and where we went to wait for the bus to take us to the ship).

The weather was fantastic it was just getting very late in the evening - that is what made the sky so dark.

Yep! LOL the next essay (after a few more pool shots) will at least move through the hotel and airport to the stop (bus stop) where we waited for the next leg of the journey to begin! LOL

We really did - I so want to go again and soon!!! No longer saving up for in vitro so Matt and I can have a baby - NOW we are saving up for another vacation like that one!!! Plus Matt's parents say they would really like to try the new ship when it comes out in 2011 - I AM ALL FOR THAT!!!!!!! LOL

It was a great vacation.

Thank you Curt.... we haven't even got to the really fun parts yet!!!! They are coming, slowly but surely. I am trying to post an essay every other day or so - so that I don't overwhelm everyone with too much at once!

Boy, all the kids sure are drawn to the fountains like moths to the light, lol, and those flippers look just too fun! Such a very lovely are it was in, can't wait to see the next installment!

Thank you Ruth - it was hilarious how they were drawn to the fountain. I have to admit some of the grownups were too but not to the same extent of course! LOL The flippers were fun but SO VERY HARD to walk in until you get in deep enough water!

I definitely recommend it. Disney was great with how they handled everything - getting our bags to the ship from our hotel room so we didn't have to lug them around, checking our bags at through customs and airport security and getting them checked for us on the way back home.... the cruise itself was absolutely wonderful too. I say save up and go - it is a BLAST!!!!
