Shadow Poem (Poetry for Children)

Sometimes

you walk before me.

Sometimes

you walk behind.

You cannot walk

without me,

though at times

you're hard to find.

You come out in the sunshine

You hide on cloudy days;

Such a fickle fellow

with funny little ways.

when i was a little guy and out walking my shadow would walk circles around me as I approched over head street light, it would scare little ole me..
