HACKED!

This week, somebody hacked into both my Twitter account and also MySpace. Quite a bit of spam was sent via Twitter in my name, even though I have never logged in since I joined. MySpace also had spam on the account. My brother-in-law was also hacked because I got the same spam from him today (Sunday) and I know he doesn't have a PC at home.

Always change passwords at least monthly.

I'm glad you posted this on here, Walker. I know there are a lot of Gatherers who also use MySpace. I posted a similar discussion on MyLot, and I said something in my Facebook status. I logged into my MySpace, and it all looked fine from there.

Did you ever figure out how to change your status, etc. on MySpace? I swear their site and apps change weekly, if not more!

one of the banks we do business with makes it mandatory to change passwords for the accounts every 5 weeks. i'm getting old, i can't always remember all these passwords!! lol

Are you allowed to have two passwords, and alternate between 1 and 2 every 5 weeks, or just change one letter/number a week?

I also keep my passwords varied from place to place. A few months ago someone tried to hack me I think because suddenly two of my passwords didn't work. I hit the resend password and I couldn't log into my email. I got in changed in time luckily.
