I have two youngs one that will both be in preschool, So while I know right now I am getting off easy (meaning what I have to buy) I have been finding some great bargins.
Target-
Yesterday with the help of a gather gift card, I had to go buy the hubby something. While I was there I decided to check clearence. I was able to buy the kids each one outfit for back to school.
Brianne-
With her brace on she is now in to 5T. I was able to find her a pair of 5t jeans (genuine kids by oshkosh) that were 12.98 and on clearence foor 6.48 and a tee shirt that was on clearence that was orignally 4 dollars and I got that for 2.00.. her total 8.48.
Brayden
I was able to get him a pair of Jeans that were regularly 14.99 and they were clearence for 7.48 ( they are Wrangler with adjustable waist but the bad news he is now in to boy clothes ;-( ) I also got him a tee shirt that was regularly 5.00 dollars I got that for 3.50. His total 11.00 for his outfit.
Meijer
Through out the month of July Meijer was doing a promo call "meijer bucks. I had over 20 of them to work with. Today I decided to get both kids thier backpacks for school. Well they had a sale last week that had backpacks at 40% off. I went over there today not sure when the sale ended, but went and check. The sale was over but cause of my good luck they still had signs out for the 40% off. They had to honor it for me. So I got Brayden a Transformers back pack that was orginally 12.99 ( 40% off was 5.20) Briannes back pack was 12.99 (40% off was 5.20). So that brought both back packs down to 7.79 per back pack. Well with my meijer bucks, I got those for free.

Total after buying One out fit for each kid and one back pack for each kid, the grand total was 19.48.
I still have 2 more 25. dollar gift cards coming so that will be alittle bit more to work with.
I have really become a bargin shopper and I am finding some great deals out there.
One a side not my total at 14.26 ( I had over 31 dollars in savings) It has taken me a very long time to learn how to find the deals, but I am doing it..

I've been hitting the cheap cheap sales each Sunday at various places for supplies.
We have an agency where they give out a back pack with all the required school supplies too and even though we do homeschool they allow us also to get it.
We have picked up a lot of art supplies for him cheap, though. He's now pretty well stocked up in that department. We do preschool lessons at home 3-4 times a week, and do craft projects and stuff at least that often, so he goes through lots of crayons, paper, glue, etc.
Just wait until you get the mile long list when the kids get in school. LOL. I can't believe how much stuff the schools want the kids to buy.
