No, this is not a story from the 1960s.
Two black employees at a Philadelphia waste transfer plant have recently filed a complaint against the city for racial discrimination, writes CNN.
Among other allegations, they claim that for decades, John Gill, superintendent at the Northwest Transfer Station, kept one restroom at the plant to whites only.
"If you tried to use the bathroom [and you were not white], you might get suspended," says Leslie Young, a former worker at the waste transfer plant.
The black workers say the restroom had a lock on the door, "with keys distributed only to white workers."
The attorney representing the workers says they will ask for "Gill's dismissal and monetary damages."
