Pelican Point is a novel of mystery and suspense set in the Albemarle Sound and Outer Banks areas of northeast North Carolina.

Life is good for Webb Sawyer. Until he gets hit over the head in the Nags Head Pier parking lot. Until a mercenary from Columbia, and three of the Columbian’s friends, try to kill him and burn down his house at Blue Heron Marsh. Until his son goes missing while trying to track down the killer of a university professor, a murder for which his son Preston is under suspicion.

When Webb and Preston’s girlfriend, Sunshine Bledsoe, work together to discover what happened to Preston, what they discover goes far beyond the professor’s murder.

My fifth novel is Corenlius: The Orphan, historical fiction/adventure set in the mid to late 1600s and takes the reader to New Amsterdam (NY), Amsterdam, Rotterdam. Boston and finally Dover, NH. Due out in Summer 2010. Worling on #6, the third and final Ellis book. Have outlined #7, the third Webb Sawyer mystery novel. Also have a children's mystery due out before Christmas. I tend to stay busy writing. An understatement, right? LoL --DQ

Have the third Webb Sawyer Mystery novel outlined and ready to go. Also have a children's mystery book due out before Christmas this year. Keeping pretty busy. --DQ
