I have completed my book. (very excited and want to tell the world, what Author doesn’t)
Now comes the fun part. The challenge of getting everyone to take time out of their busy schedule to become acquainted with my work.
I’ve asked before and received several suggestions on how to use the internet to draw interest. Knowing there are many Authors on Gather, (though I won’t be consistent doing this,) I’ll blog those efforts here letting everyone know the results.
As a social network, I wish Gather had a much greater percentage of their respective market. (no brainier here, Gather wishes that as well)
Through continuous effort, many Gathers are already aware of my work.
I’m asking a favor here…to simplify communications for when this work is in print, click my name and send me your email address via Gather.
Receiving an adequate number of emails can allow an advance printing while I'm in search of a publisher.
Your email will only be used to notify you of when and where to obtain your copy of A Stone’s Throw Away.
If you haven’t visited my work as of yet: Click here for the adventure of a life time
Authors, or if you know an Author, come back to this post. I will continue to blog, leaving the links below. There will be articles of interest in the future as I walk down this road.

It's a blessing if you can get attention. To me, that's the hard part. People see your work, but they may not comment or try to support you. People don't rate your work, but that doesn't mean that it's not good. Like Lynn said, there are plagerists and there is also a lot of envy. Keep doing what you do Carl. I'm praying that you will be successful.
I look forward to reading and sending out info on the book all over
Hard copy! And it would be wonderful to get a strong precommitment before sending to a publisher.
Now, if you can get it printed..
You know that on Lulu.com, you can get your novel printed up for pretty cheap. You just have to make into a PDF and upload it to their site. Of course you have to register first with your information.

Good Luck You Are Very Talented
You can list your book on Amazon, BookHabit and Lulu. It can be downloaded for a fee which is split with the author. Amazon sells to Kindle users. I just listed two.
Now the fun begins. Books are written--Best sellers are promoted.
I have my third serialized on my posts. Check it out.
Well, OK then... have it your way. I'll just take it one day at a time. Good luck and God Bless you along your journey, to fame, fortune and ...um... do wild women come in there anywhere? ( You don't have to read that part to the wife. If you do, I relenquish anthing I've said here, to insanity and deny every word! )
Just my take on a read-through when I clicked the link in your message.

Presently, I am going over the galleys for the print edition of the fourth book in the Sarah's Landing Series entitled Genesis. The three previous books are already in print.
Best,
It's wonderful that there are so many Authors on Gather, who, imho, are very helpful.
When I signed up on Gather, I didn't even it was a social network. To date, it has been the only social network I am a member of.
Though Twitter and the others should look out, 'cause here I come. (but if they work like Gather, it'd take forever to gain exposure and wouldn't be worth it.)
Do you know if there's a fast track on Twitter?

I have always wanted to write a book, and you've made me very happy I've joined Gather.
I also wanted to mention that you've handled Robin's comments very well. Good Luck!
e-mail to follow...
There's a book publishing contest on here, just about to start right now, you might want to get in on that... who's doing it, heck, I forgot! Bet a search would find it though...
Huge Congrats and now I'll have to say I "knew you when".
YAY!
