Andrew Knight, a private investigator, led me on an intriguing investigation in The Forgotten King by R.L. Edinger. It all started in Wisconsin with the death of the museum curator, Robert LaRue. He was found in front of an awesome replica being erected of an Egyptian Pharaoh’s Tomb. The death was surrounded by mystery and there were tons of suspects.
During the investigation, I joined Andrew to discover various clues left behind by the suspect’s actions and words. I am still amazed how Andrew linked the pieces together to solve this mystery. He is one of the most adept investigators I have met.
Not only was I able to witness the investigation techniques firsthand, but I met an intriguing array of characters. Some where Andrew’s personal family and friends, like Megan, Maggie, Nicholas, and Sam. Others, like Akila, Paige, Peter, and Shawn, were actual suspects. And still others were people who had unknowingly had contact with the killer.
Needless to say, it was a very suspenseful journey and a fantastic learning experience. When we finally had the murderer in custody, we were able to give Robert’s wife, Sarah, closure. I hope to be able to tag along on another investigation with Andrew soon.
Side note: If you want to know “who dunnit”, you can purchase this book from Amazon. If you like suspense, mystery, and danger then you should get with Andrew and go on this investigation…
