Fight fleas naturally

After my 6 pound Chihuahua suffered another seizure I began to  rethink my flea fighting methods. We had been dosing him with a half dose of Frontline. I recently read several articles connecting seizures to this anti flea application.

Rather than take the chance that this wasn't the cause I decided to stop using it and see what the outcome would be. So far no more seizures. 

I had to rethink fighting ticks and fleas. After doing some reading I decided on a combination treatment. I now bathe him and my other Chihuahua in a special shampoo that contains natural flea fighting ingredients and use Neem Oil I also apply Citronella to their fabric harnesses each day. I bought the shampoo at a pet boutique for $12.00. The Neem oil is available on line. So far, no ticks or fleas and no health issues.

I bathe the dogs about once a month depending on whether they have gotten into anything stinky.

Although there has been nothing definite about the connection to the Frontline/Advantage type method I just feel better safe than sorry.
