If you notice, the article title has no exclamation point. The former governor of Alaska should've considered this move just after the 2008 election. Through her bumbling, she handed Barack Obama the presidency. She decided to quit to thwart an inquiry over her dealings with a building company. That building company added an addition to her mansion. In turn, they were granted a lucrative contract.
Palin said that she still had presidential dreams on her mind. Those dreams were probably postponed due to her slithering from her oval igloo.

No-o-o-o-o... Obama had the Presidency from Day 1. I will agree that Ms. Palin provided pretty good comedy relief during an otherwise tedious and pre-decided campaign, but she dodn't "...hand Barack Obama the Presidency. He could've beaten anyone they threw at him.
Having her out there as a VP candidate was insulting, much as Bush's daddy insulted us with Whutzisname... and the Republicans insulted us with Bush's son (or he insulted us with himself). But she was at least funny.
You would've voted in a Mormon from a state that practices polygamy? Boy, are you Republicans in disarray!
"No, no, no! That woman with my wife is my publicist! We're not married! We only have a business relationship!"
But, I'll bet you're counter with that "Obama is a Muslim terrorist in sheep's clothing" right?
I am a libertarian and could care less about religion.
I believe that Obama actually is a Muslim at heart but went to Rev. Wrights church because it passed as a Christian church and it kept him politically viable. I don't think he is a terrorist.
Libertarians haven't exactly supported the right candidates in recent years. Unlike you, I do care if my leader shares a religion similar to most of the country. It's all about character. Now, you like millions of Republicans and Libertarians have no proof that Obama is out to destroy America. Yet, you refuse to give our Commander-in-Chief a chance to solve problems created by the last, three GOP administrations.
If you Libertarians don't like the direction America is going, there are plenty of discount rates on one-way flights out of here. Take advantage of the summer specials.
Mitt Romney has to distance himself, ie (move out of Utah) from the Church of Latter Day Saints. He is great leader, but not a smart individual. He is blind to think that most American voter have "psychological discomfort" in appointing a possible, polygamy supporter to America's highest position.
Now, you may counter that America is supporting a possible Muslim in Obama. Obama may be Muslim. However, a huge segment of the country is as well. Chicago has a significant number of people who worship Islam. I will doubt that the numbers of bigamists and polygamists can sway the Gallup Poll in 2012.
Relax and leave President Obama be.
