How dare I claim a friendship
With someone of such eloquence of speech?
Expressing in such flowing words
I’m sure I’ll never master:
The beauty of a sunrise,
Or wind in the pines,
Or tells of Queen Anne’s Lace
Tatted in white clusters.
Such is the beauty of her kindness.
Then, she salutes me with a greeting,
“…to my long time friend….”
Those words with priceless bounty!
My heart enlivened with the joy
Knowing space has not dwindled
Nor distressed the comaraderie.
She forged a frame for hope
While revealing the Spirit of God,
And her words give nourishment.

How beautiful your heart! I am overwhelmed by the "tenderness of spirit" with which you have so beautifully penned your expressions; and truly humbled that you would think in the manner you have expressed regarding my writings, for I am a novice to be sure. You are, without question, one of the most "genuine of character" members of the Gather community; and I cannot express how much I respect that and how thankful I am that God allowed us to become the friends we are today. You were my second connection when I first came to Gather; but I tell you this:
You are a "first-rate" person, colleague and friend.
You've a "true friend" here, Virginia! Her character defines solidity of friendship; and for those of us who know her, the beauty of her kindness is undeniable. When she says she's "truly humbled", that's exactly what she means, for her heart is as tender as the delicacy of a flower and as noble as the most honorable patrician. Oh, how I love your longtime friend and mine: Barbra L.
It is a wonderful blessing that you're not only sister-in-laws, but you share a great friendship as well. That is precious!
Virginia: I have this lovely tribute FEATURED @ BARB L.
What a lovely, lovely thing for you to do for Barbra! She was so touched! God Bless, dear friend.
Hello! It seems forever since we did the POW's and PPOW's. It was fun to read all the entries. Thank you so much for coming by, reading and leaving a comment!

I am moderating for one of the groups that my friend & sister-in-law, Autumn Farrington, moderates and came across your comments. I am commenting from Autumn's venue.
Sincerely,
Barbra L.
I think it's nice you have responded to the comments.
Your praise and appreciation of my work has left me awestruck and flabbergasted.
Love to You...
Deb & Sheila: I agree.
Virginia: Thanks again for this tribute. Not only have you written a lovely tribute for Barbra, but the reuniting of former POW members has certainly been a wonderful thing. :) Weren't those great days? We all benefitted so much from those groups.
Thank you, Autumn, for the feature at http://barbweloveyou.gather.com/
God Bless both of you. YOU truly enrich the Gather environment.
Blessings and best wishes - S.
You know how dearly I love you, and I am very honored you have visitied my longtime friend's tribute here to express your sentiments. What a wonderful "surprise" she gave me with the beautiful tribute, and I will always cherish it. God Bless! Lyublyu tebya...

Virginia: Sara Teasdale wrote a poem entitled "THE COIN". I want to offer it to you this morning to be representative of how "priceless" your friendship is to me.
THE COIN
Into my heart's treasury
I slipped a coin
That time cannot take
Nor a thief purloin -
Oh, better than the minting
Of a gold-crowned king
Is the safe-kept memory
Of a lovely thing.
*What a "lovely thing"our friendship has proven to be! God bless!
