While in Oregon, we went to this wonderful little amusement park called The Enchanted Forest. It's just outside of Salem, the state's Capitol. It's been there since 1968, and I remember going on occasion as a kid, but it's grown quite a bit since then. The park is still family owned and operated and now has had 4 generations working there. When you first walk in, you start going through various scenes from fairy tales - Cinderella's castle, Alice In Wonderland where the kids can walk through an underground tunnel, the crooked house, the Old lady who lived in a shoe is made into one of those big bumpy slides with the burlap sacks, etc. Then you come to a western town where they have scenes from the old west - dentist office, sheriff's office, the saloon where the floor moves as you walk across it so you walk like a drunk, etc. It's really an awesome place. Then there are quite a few fun rides. Here's a few pics. I will create a photo album with the rest later.

Part of Alice in Wonderland's area - sorry it's sideways. I thought I rotated it but I guess not!
