Vacation Activities - Enchanted Forest

While in Oregon, we went to this wonderful little amusement park called The Enchanted Forest. It's just outside of Salem, the state's Capitol.  It's been there since 1968, and I remember going on occasion as a kid, but it's grown quite a bit since then. The park is still family owned and operated and now has had 4 generations working there.  When you first walk in, you start going through various scenes from fairy tales - Cinderella's castle, Alice In Wonderland where the kids can walk through an underground tunnel, the crooked house, the Old lady who lived in a shoe is made into one of those big bumpy slides with the burlap sacks, etc. Then you come to a western town where they have scenes from the old west - dentist office, sheriff's office, the saloon where the floor moves as you walk across it so you walk like a drunk, etc.  It's really an awesome place.  Then there are quite a few fun rides. Here's a few pics.
