Comedian Jon Stewart is America's Most Trusted Newsman, at least according to an online poll conducted by the Time Magazine.

Of course, this is not a scientific poll (if any are), but still a great sign of people's lack of trust in the mainstream media.

Jon Stewart received 44% of the vote.

Behind him are Brian Williams with 29%, Charlie Gibson with 19%, and Katie Couric with 7% of the vote.

I am not surprised. He bills his show as the fake news. Yet he attacks all issues with humor and some truth. The reality is, the real news is more comical, yet not funny.

I'll bet that the anchor from OTV (Onion TV) is probably upset he didn't get more trust, especially after the Onion was sold to the Chineese.

On the other hand, being more serious, this does show the general problem with the MSM in general, especially in the past year where it has become the ministers of propaganda for the President and where any news organization that actually questions the administration is ridiculed by name.

Fortunately, there is always NPR.

This is like voting a male homecoming queen. People think it is funny.

However, I do not find blatant lies on the show, and the interviews are rather good.

His show is fun and witty. The interviews are interesting and well done and I agree I "trust" him more then say a Katie Couric. So far I haven't found anything to critize to the contrary he digs at the flaws and discusses details that are often not provided in the main network news.

The only difference between the Daily Show and Faux Noise is the Daily Show admits it's fake news but has more facts and truth than Faux Noise.

These guys (Stewart and Colbert) have such a huge audience I'm not at all surprised. I think their fans would vote for them for anything. I find them to both be hilarious and often learn something from watching, I just wish I could say that about the real news.
