Shadowy moon knows tales and frailties
Suspended moments smiles eternity
Verse of familiar desire, periapt
Voyages on fantasy silhouette
Anticipation, mauve clouds, shy blushing
Into the windows of home, warmth and life

There's a real chameleon in the night sky
Off white brine, bright yellow and bloody red
Where dreams took a dip and ripples were fed
Moonlight in comfort’s arms, Cupid can smile
Silvery moon, wispy mists send greetings
And weathered tree carving, two hearts leaping

Drifting in fairy tales, softly gleaming
Where rhapsody has melody tending
So natural, magical air whispers
In velvety light bathing the promise
Silently, surrounding stars chiming in
Listening to the winds, singing your smile

This word, I'm sure you will want to use if any Japanese Leprachauns should make your tale (maybe as sailors or sushi chefs, or even a Sumoist for a horizontal position scene: You know - Take the load off. Does this give clarity?
Would they be kamikaze Japanese Leprechauns?

Flannel should be required attire because it hides stains well. That is very very nice, do you not agree? I mean, during high tea with your neighbors, relatives or hearing voices from a hidden spy camera, I would think your conversation would be more likely about flannel than my humble verse.

I thik this is an easy poem to understand and I'm trying to impart a mellow vibe. I very much appreciate your comments.

The word periapt is a word I accidentally found while looking for a word story with pe to fit both the meaning and rhythmic flow in the line. I know you'll be shocked when I tell you I use a 45 year old Thesaurus. I believe it was Sir Francis Bacon (English not Canadian) who said, 'Collection of data should include any practical source.' I'm just making this up. I hope this does periapt.

Curt, It would be interesting if you wrote a reflection poem. You already have three lines. In a reflection poem you are looking at the verse from any one of a zillion angles and then rewriting the verse from your perspective.
