Spending the day with family from San Diego,...

I shared a little bit of Portland, Oregon with all of you earlier today - the buildings and some of the sights I saw while hanging out with my family on their vacation from San Diego.

Now I'll post the people portion - my family!!!

Thanks for meeting my family... this got to be so long that I'm going to split it up into yet another part! More pictures are coming.

faith,those are great pictures. You caught some wonderful candids.

I love San Diego... the sand dollars roll up on the beach with the waves and look like little dancers. we stayed at the hotel del coronado. They have a room there that they say is haunted. I went to sea world there also.

I love candids -- they're definitely my favorite kind of photography.

I love San Diego too and really hope we can make a trip there one day. I've only been there twice.

Yeah, ha. That was Rylan -- he got a 'baby fish' and a 'daddy fish' from a little shop in Chinatown and his brother Alex was trying to look at them. He was VERY protective of those fish!

It was really cute! Usually he's a total momma's boy but my husband wasn't with us that day since he had to work. He chose the baby fish first and when we went to pay for it he said 'the baby fish needs a daddy fish!' so we picked out a bigger fish. How cute.

Yes, my niece is a budding photographer too -- she lives in California and I've always felt a bond with her, even though I don't really know her. When she started taking pictures too I was so excited! She's actually on Gather...

That is one of my favorite shots too! The neat thing about it is that it wasn't set up ... I just looked up and they were walking like that.
