86° High Today

Wow, what a difference a rain can make.  A week and a half ago it was 109°.  Today our high was only 86°.  It rained last night and most of the day today here in my part of Northeast Texas.  I’m so happy, my flowers are happy and my grass is growing.  I love to mow so now that the grass is growing again I can mow again.  Woo Hoo.  Life is good.

same here, Yippee! hours of rain last night leading into morn, cloud cover all day...the temps got a high of only 84, which is sweet relief. 2 weeks ago at this AM time, it would be hovering around 96/97. Now it is only 74....I love iT!

You need rain for using your kayak, instead of a car to get to market. It's better for our environment.

We have been having nice hot weather and some rain at night. That I can handle...not like we had in June with almost the whole month with rain each day.

LOL, Thanks. They are always clip art pictures that I re-do on my computer Paint-box to make them look like me. It's fun to do, I'm just a kid at heart regardless of the white hair. LOL

Glad it's cooled off for you. When it's 86 here I think it's very hot. We had some nice days this past week with 70's temps.

Glad you got some rain, Lee!! We heard thunder and saw lightning, but did it rain?? NO!! Hopefully, today or tomorrow, we will get the wet stuff because God only knows how much we need it!

We've got a cold front moving through here, too. They say it's from Canada and might last through the week. I wouldn't mind. The cool weather is a nice change.
