Chris Brown apology video - Was it sincere?

Chris Brown has released a video in which he apologizes to the public about the Rihanna assault incident. Check out the Chris Brown apology video below:

I was so angry at Chris Brown for what he did. His actions not only hurt Rihanna, but his young music fans who look up to him as a role model. But the man is reaching out to (finally) admit that his actions were wrong. I could forever hold a grudge against Chris Brown. But he's young, and I'm hoping there's time for him to change for the better. I think if an abuser truly wants to change his ways, he can.

You really can't ask for more than this apology. . . and good behavior for the next several years. The world will be watching, so time will tell whether this was a one-time incident or a nasty behavior pattern. He seems sincere to me. I hope his efforts to escape the family pattern are successful.
