Anthony GOT the job!!

He just came in and HE GOT THE JOB!!!

Yippie!!

He starts 8am next monday! He goes in for orientation on Wednesday.

Due to his age he cant work more than 20 hours a week till he turns 15 in August. When he turns 15 he can go up to 30 hours a week. He is most excited about a weekly paycheck!! He was jumping for joy..LOL He will earn in one week what it took him 2 weeks to earn at Sonic.

He just left to give his 2 week notice at Sonic.

I will fill you in later with more details i have a bad migraine today just wanted to let you know the AWESOME news.

That's Great!!! My teen got his first job this summer at Publix and he's feeling the work, but loves the paychecks. He's thrown all of it in the bank and also been able to purchase all the clothes he wants for the new school year. He also has learned the value of a dollar as far as groceries are concerned because Publix tends to be a little expensive and he happily went with us to Sams Club and compared prices and bagged for us as that's his 'career' right now, lol.

That is great! It is a good idea to get kids to work at an earyly age that way they know what is is they are supposed to do. I used to make my son put 1/2 his pay in the bank every payday so he would have something for later. When he got married he had a down payment on his new home.
