Scott Peterson’s Family Soliciting Money For Defense

With a minimum of over $450,000 allotted for convicted murderer Scott Peterson’s by the state for his appeal, Peterson’s family is soliciting the public for donations to further bolster his defense fund. Scott Peterson is currently sitting on death row for the murder of his pregnant wife Laci and their unborn son. I thoroughly believe everyone deserves to be presumed innocent until proven guilty but this evil individual was proven guilty and now the state of California will be paying for his automatic appeal and that is as it should be. But I feel it is beyond arrogance and common decency for the Peterson family to further and prolong the agony of Laci’s family and love ones, by going on this fund raiser as if they were collecting money for a worth while cause instead of trying to lessen their own burden and that of Scott a true psychopath.

I have a few questions for the Peterson family. First, where is all the money earned by friends and family of Scott for interviews, books etc. that exploited this senseless tragedy? Second, will this money be used simply for the appeal or will it benefit Scott in jail by providing him with comforts that would other wise be denied him due to lack of credit in his commissary account? Lastly, will any of this money be used by any member of the Peterson family for their own needs, such as lodging or traveling expenses accrued during trips to the prison to visit Scott? I believe these all valid questions that should be answer and revealed to any individuals dumb enough to contribute.

As always there will always be some idiot who will give, if for no other reason than the same that drives those serial groupies that write and seek interactions with evil such as Ted Bundy and Richard Ramirez a.k.a. the Night Stalker. In either case I truly feel this is too much and we as a society should turn our backs on them and this request for money at the expense of common decency.
