Angels and Demons

We just went to see Angels and Demons and I really loved it. When I read the books, I thought Angels and Demons was a better story than The Da Vinci Code, although I liked them both. It's the same with the movies. Both movies were good, but I think this one is better. Tom Hanks is more convincing as Robert Langdon this time, and Ewan McGregor is excellent in his role. It has the same sort of twists and turns, the historical places, and the fascinating bits of trivia that Da Vinci Code provided. Altogether, I was very very pleased with this movie.Highly recommended.

My husband has wanted to see this movie since it came out. Unfortunately we never got a chance to go. Hubby has read all of Dan Brown's books, and he has the newest one pre-ordered. I'll tell him what you said about the movie. Thanks!

I want to see the movie after I finish the book. It's in my book queue at the moment. I didn't do much reading this week.

I have read all of Dan Brown's books too and look forward to reading his new book. Will watch this movie when it is available on DVD.

I thought Angels and Demons was a much better book also. We haven't seen the movie yet, and I'll have to wait until it's either at the cheap theater or on DVD.

Janet, we saw it at the discount theater, Picture Show at Merchants Walk in Marietta, $1.25 for matinee tickets.

Oh, it's newly there then. We were there Thursday and it wasn't playing yet. I'll have to see it by myself though, since no one else here will see it.

Yep just saw the film on DVD last night and unlike everyone who found it good to watch, I was slightly disappointed coming into this already with some gnostic spiritual wisdom behind me (and constantly learning more) realizing the Roman catholic church has good intentions but controversial ways of applying those intentions. Well entertainment sure is different in the 21st century, thanks for sharing
