I read an article recently in the New York Times which leads me to believe that there is light at the end of the anti-obesity tunnel- albeit a very small, dim light. But, the light is there nevertheless. The article, titled, Tossing Out The Diet And Embracing The Fat, is a positive look at the Health At Every Size (HAES) movement. It even mentions the fact that several scientific studies show that some weight actually improves your chances of living over a person who is extremely thin. While this is definitely not the be all and end all of where our society needs to be in regards to people of variying weights and sizes, it is, nevertheless, a step in the right direction.

Psalms 92
13] Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.
[14] They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;
Proverbs 28
[25] He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in the LORD shall be made fat
Isa.55
[2] Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
Isa.58
[11] And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.
Great article and welcome back!
