The Easiest Crockpot Recipe Ever---Crockpot Soda Cake!!!

I just got this recipe from an online friend; however, going through my own collection of recipes, I found I had a copy of it....not the same, exact wording but same ingredients!  Anyhow, I plan to make this tomorrow!

CROCKPOT SODA CAKE

1 box (18 1/4 oz.) cake mix, any flavor

1 (12 oz.) can soda pop (any kind)

Spray the crockpot with nonstick spray.  Combine the cake mix and soda, and mix well.  Pour into crockpot.

Cook on low for 2 to 3 hours or until a toothpick inserted in the middle, comes out clean.

Here are some interesting combinations:

    Orange cake mix and orange soda

    White cake mix with root beer

    White cake mix with orange soda

    Butter pecan  cake mix and Sprite

    Cocolate cake mix and ginger ale

    Strawberry cake mix and Sprite

Enjoy!

I'm going to try either the orange cake mix and orange soda or the white cake mix with the orange soda, I think!  Then, once the cake's cool, top it with Cool Whip.....yummy!!!!!

Hi Nora~ I was just searching around the internet. And found this recipe for a soda cake. I thought it was cool and thought I'd share. So you can use a diet soda for the slow cooker recipe too.

Diet Soda Cake
1 (18.25 ounce) box cake mix
1 (12 ounce) can diet soda

Mix together. Bake as per instructions on cake box.
You can use any flavor cake mix and matching soda flavor.
