Family OUTing's Goes Swimming

I am the new coordinator for the Family OUTing's group where I live. The group is for the LGTBQ community that have kids in their life either by being the parent, a family member, family friend, etc.

It's hot here. I mean really hot. So I decided to have an event be at a public pool. I was a little nervous as I'd never been to a public pool and didn't know what to expect. After going, I'm thrilled to say that it went just fine. the pool we went to was big, it was not as crowded as expected either. It was only a dollar to get in per person.

Thank goodness you are not in PA. Did you hear that story, where the day camp was turned away because they were black? OMG, sick stuff. So glad this went well! It looks like a great time. I wish your group was near me, cause I'd join in a heartbeat. I could use some real friends! And I always like to show my support :-) {{HUGS}} You are an awesome coordinator!!!
