Yes, find the Salem, OR. chamber of commerce page, they have real estate listings and even classifieds sometimes! my friend bought a house in Atlanta like that, sight unseen!

I live near Salem, perhaps I can be of some help. There are places that are not safe to live, and there are places that are more desirable to live. Anything East of Lancaster is not good, generally South Salem, West Salem and North Salem and Keizer are good. All have spots that are better or worse than others. I would not buy sight unseen. You definitely want to take the whole neighborhood in consideration. You can also check with Salem Police Department to look at crime patterns.

You might be interested in Silverton, east of Salem, small town, artsy, and the mayor, Stew is transgendered. I suspect you will be able to find D&D just about anywhere.

Depending on your medical needs of course. Portland has some of the best hospitals around now!!
