Mornings at my zoo involve feeding a few animals... The first ones have to be the horses or they'll be snorting and rattling their feed bins at me! I have three geldings...

Whiplash is an arab/quarter horse I've had for 12 years now. I got him at just 6 months old. He's a character, and very intelligent. He's a bit underweight here, and we're working on that... He's still my baby, so he gets his breakfast first!

Luke (Cool Hand Luke) is a rescued mustang I got when he was about 3 - so he's about 7 now. He's the most sensible, sweet, appreciative guy! This one is small, but he's strong and willing to do whatever is asked of him. He's second in line for grub.

Viking is my newest addition, I've had him for about a year - my wonderful husband gave him to me for my birthday last year. He's a 13 yr-old Tennessee Walker that was trained as a police horse, and knows some cute tricks, too. He's big, powerful and fast! But he's very patient and doesn't mind being last to get fed.
Now I just need to give all these guys a bath and a good brushing... three more incredible creatures I'm grateful to share my life with...

Yay horses! It's about time I saw a picture of Viking... swell looking fella' by the way. They are all so handsome...
Nice pics, thanks.
Thank you, John - they are gorgeous!
I'd be happy if I had room for chickens, LOL.
Oh, Heidi......your horses are just beautiful! It must be wonderful to get to spend time with them every single day! WOW!
It is a blessing in my life!
I think Luke is my fave, I've always had a thing for buckskins.
He is such a sweetie - hard to believe he used to be wild...
Thank you for the introductions - it's so nice to meet them all :-)
You are welcome. Mrs. W!
