Tomorrow I'm going to Canobie Lake Park... yea!!!

I'm pretty excited about tomorrow. I'm gong with friends to a local amusement park located in Salem, NH called Canobie Lake Park.

It's been several years since I've been, but it's one of those places I've been going to ever since I was a young child. Being out of work now for 7 months is so depressing that it's so nice to have something fun to look forward too! I'll probably take some little videos and pictures so I'll have stuff to share with everyone on Gather. It's just going to be so nice to have something to look forward too and to be away from reality for a few hours!

Does anyone know about this amusement park or at least have one of these places that's only opened in the summer months? Disney is my favorite, but since that's 1200 miles away I'll take Canobie!! :-)

We went last year but were not able to go on all the rides and enjoy the games because we got caught in the middle of a thunder storm... have fun..

BTW.... I did go here quite often as a kid and it is the only Roller Coaster I have ever had the gonads to go on.. still unsure what got into me that day back in 1984!!

Yes, the wooden roller coaster!! It's been soooo long since I've been on it. The old cars were always my favorite. I think because"Dad" always let me drive!! A lot of good memories...
