How many races are on the planet is the question? The answer is quite simple one! What do I mean by one you might say, there are multiple races like asian, eskimos, white/european, black/african american, indian, mexicans, cubans, jewish, haitians, jamaicans, puerto ricans, trinidadians, greeks, italians, french etc., etc, etc. That's the big deception or better yet out right lie, because what we really are or should I say be classified properly as one race human first with a variety of cultural differences. Some of those cultural differences are dialects or languages, music, foods and dress. We have allowed ourselves to be divided and conqoured by names of places as a form of identification such as Jamaica, America, Greece, Italy, France, Puerto Rico and so on to the point of discrimination, prejudice, seperation and yes that ugly word no one likes to hear RACISM! It has become that because of what we label ourselves. The root word is RACE and ISM is a scheme. The combination of the two has been so woven into our everyday lives that it is accepted as real and the reality is that it is an illusion that we have bought into literally because we are paying for it in the many forms such as hatred, mistrust, jealousy, envy, war, gossip, misinformation, miseducation, unemployment, housing, health, personal relationships, disrespect, crime, misconceptions and a ball of confusion because the severe lack of proper communication! To take it a step deeper which we must because we think so shallow. When it comes to potential life and death situations such as a blood transfusion or a organ transplant we are only divided by blood types A,B positives, negatives and the universal donor type of O exist in every type of culture on this planet! So there is no speciality value to white, caucasian, european or black, african american blood by that definition. Blood is not special because it's from a German, Chinese, Jewish, French or any other type of label person. It is special because of what properties it has in it as specific antigens in the red blood cells to name a few. If any of us or any of our loved ones needed emergency surgery to save their lives, your labeled, classified culture carries no real weight. Neither does the ones operating on you or them. It is the applied knowledge, education, skills, training and experiece that these human beings have that truly counts! Not if they are what ever subtitle you want to call them, be it Russian, Cuban, Italian, Portugeuse, Indian, Japanese etc. The only thing that is plain as black and white is the white paper or backround that this is typed on and the carbon black ink that are in these individual letters that make up the words in this article. We have to get outside of this simple feeble minded thinking and expand our thoughts and horizons of thinking outside of the box because it is holding us back as a people (Human Beings)! Unless you are from some other planet this should not surprise, shock or offend you. We have been placed here on this Aquarium ( Approx 70% of sphere is covered by water) some call Earth to help one another, respect one another and ultimately love one another. That will never happen on a large scale if we don't tear down these silly, simple, stupid walls of ignorance (ignoring the facts). Yes be proud of your individual subcultures, heritage, languages, music, foods and all the contributions that you've made to the world and the society as a whole. However respect others as well and stop ego tripping into thinking you are superior or better because of it. We are only a small part of the much bigger picture which is the humanitarian, planetarian, global and human family which is the seed, root and essence of our true core and divine value! We must work harmoniously along with each other and especially Mother Nature if we are truly committed to making this World a much better place for ourselves, our children and our childrens children in future generations to hopefully come.
