Artist Needed: Guild Emblem Designs for RPG Supplement

Bards and Sages is looking for an artist to create 12 "guild emblems" for the upcoming roleplaying game product Adventure Havens: Guilds. The product will be released in PDF and POD formats.

Adventure Havens is a series of game supplements that provides game masters with ready-to-use material that can be folded into almost any setting. Each supplement highlights a dozen similar locales, such as taverns, libraries, etc. The upcoming installment will feature fantasy guilds that players can join and interact with.

Each illustration will serve as a "guild emblem." The guild emblem will appear at the heading of each guild. A separate sheet showing all the guild emblems will appear at the back of the product that GMs can print out and use as "badges" for members. Each emblem will need to incorporate the name of the guild, but otherwise artist will have free reign to come up with designs.

Each image should be full color at 300 dpi, approximately 3.5" x 3.5" in size.

Because the images will be incorporating our Intellectual Property, please note that this project is work-for-hire and that the rights to the images will remain with Bards and Sages. Artist will retain the right to use the images in his or her portfolio and on his or her professional website.

When submitting your quote, please include a general timeline in which you would have the images completed. This project is currently in the editorial stages, and we will finalize the publication deadline based on when we can finalize art. We are very strict about deadlines, and do not tolerate lateness. Late art costs us money, and our contracts include penalties for the delivery of late art. If you have a problem meeting deadlines or think you would rather hang out at the beach instead of completing the assignment on time, don't apply.
