I had a pretty good weekend minus the verizon problem.
Saturday after the whole verizon thing, I took the kiddos to get a hair cut, I will post how much better they look. As a treat for the kids, I decided that they had been coup up at home for too long. So even though it was a little warm yesterday we decided to go to a few garage sales. The kids loved it. I let each kid pick out one toy. Brayden got a really cool hot wheels semi truck for a buck, and she picked out a pony with what feels like human hair on it that was only 50 cents. I also got them a new step stool for the sink, and a huge box of chalk those were both a buck. I did manage on christmas present too. It is a horse that they can ride, the horse it self does not move, but if they bounce on it it moves. That was pretty cool, I got that for 5 bucks. so for about 10 doallrs yesterday i got them a few new things. The only thing that bummed me out was no one had any clothes for the little man.
Today was a pretty relaxing day, and brayden and I went for a bike ride.
Over all I would say it was a good weekend.

I had a good weekend. On Saturday, I had my sonogram done early. I then went to have breakfast at the diner near home. I watched the Obama going to Ghana thing. Then I went to my friend's house and spent the afternoon with her. We had a good time.
Today, right after church I came home and got a nap after spending time on gather. I woke up at 4pm. I had dinner which I don't remember what it was. Now I do remember... It was chinese rice with boneless chicken and lots of water. At 5pm, my neighbor and I went for a walk. She and I will doing that every night to keep healthy.

I've had a good weekend as I've been resting trying to regain energy for a busy week that's coming up. We ate healthy food and I got caught up on e-mails. Friday night the final plays were read from the Kentucky Women Playwrights' Seminar which I lead every other year. The plays were wonderful and the audience members sure were impressed with the work of the playwrights. Before the reading my husband and I had the privelage of eating out with a participant and her husband at our little diner that serves healthy food.
We had a good weekend, too. Friday was my husband's squadron picnic, so we went to that. Elliott got to play with his new best friends (the little girl says Elliott is her boyfriend), and they had fun activities for the kids, like a bouncy house, face painting, etc. It was fun. Yesterday we didn't do much of anything, but that was nice, too. This weekend is the only weekend this month that we don't have a bunch of stuff going on, so it was nice to just stay home and do things around the house. Today we went shopping, and found some good deals, so that was nice, too.
Oh, and I haven't had to cook hardly at all this weekend. That was probably the best part! lol Friday we ate lunch at the park, and then had leftovers for dinner. Saturday I must have cooked lunch, but we had leftovers again last night. Today my husband cooked lunch and we ate at Taco John's for supper. ;)
We had a great weekend. We spent all day yesterday in town for the local festival days, we had an awesome parade too!
Today we went to church & then just relaxed here at home.
I had a great day yesterday taking my dogs to a play date out of town. When we took the dogs home, we went out to eat at a steak house. Today I had a bad stomach ache all day and hardly got out of bed so I didn't accomplish a thing today or have much fun either!
Mine was good. How come you didn't go to my moms today?

I got sick last nite I was swimming yesterday and got way to much sun, then went to Sara party then then got reall ill with cramp, some here think it was heat cramps, so I veg out for the most part today. took three baths to get cooled off, I am still hurting
Sounds like you got some good finds! I try to avoid yard sales because I have too much junk as it is! We went in the pool for about five minutes this weekend-the water was really cold!
I have not been to a garage/yard sale in sooo long. Sounds like you made out! I had a horse like what you described when I was a kid. You sat on it and bounced. It was tons of fun lol.
My weekend was good! Went to a party Saturday night, Sunday mainly rested, and did some clothes shopping! I now have shorts that fit, yay!
