Life
Looking at sun-kissed flowers,
that dance in gentle breezes,
Finding beauty in all living things,
at one time, the world was gray.
Picturing blue ocean waves,
loving life as never before.
Once so dark, now so ecstatic,
thinking of then, sadness permeated.
Finally I can say, "Hello Life!"
You ask why? "I Am Alive!"

Hugs and blessings - S.
Thank you, you wrote an amazing poem, which I read yesterday, Svetlana, so talented, and so very nice, as well as such a great friend.
Dawn,
I'm going to read right now :)
Wow! That was simply wonderful
Thanks, Connie, may I have some of your fried squash? LOL Please (pitiful look)
The last sentence comes up, rises and spreads like an echo. Yes, this is a poignant poem.

Very inspiring on Sunday morning.
Thank you, Kushal and Mary..
What a positive outlook on life. Bravo.
Hello Life!
I love it!
Beautiful poem, Marilyn!
A nice big juicy Bronx Cheer, like only Archie Bunker could do, to the gray and the heaviness! A defiant enjoyment of all things good in life - in living color and 3-D! I read the reference to "I am Alive," and it rose this to even higher heights. Amen! No more gray! Thank you!
Oh! Guessing you figured out the prompts? (I knew you would, spectacularly.) lol
Good work, I enjoyed it.
thanks for sharing..
This is a very beautiful poem!
A nice positive unfolding. I like the pace and places where the flow stops because each time a key point is emphasized.
