An Amber Alert has been issued for four Washoe County, Nevada children. The suspect is believed to be 34-year old Claire Tourand, the children's non-custodial mother. Tourand was scheduled to meet with social services Friday involving custody of the children and failed to show for meeting. A court order was issued for return of the children by a family court judge who stated there was an immediate risk of harm to the children.
The children, who are believed to be at risk, are described as:
Ivan Mata-Martinez is a 12-year-old male, 4 feet tall, weighing approximately 80 pounds
Jakelyn Mata-Martinez is an 8-year-old female, 3 feet tall, weighing approximately 60 pounds.
Megan Mata-Martinez is a 7-year-old female, 2 feet 10 inches tall, weighing approximately 55 pounds.
The suspect is a 34-year-old white female, 5 feet 8 inches and about 220 pounds, with a large build, brown hair and hazel eyes, and is believed to be driving a white, 1998 Mercury Sable, with the license plate number 369-SDH.
Tyson Mata-Martinez is a 2-and-a-half-year-old male, 2 feet 6 inches, weighing approximately 48 pounds.
