I save my gather points for a $50 gift card from Target.
After sweeping the carpet on the patio the other day, I thought it REALLY needed to be replaced/changed/eliminated.
There is just concrete under the carpet - that'd be easier to maintain.
Also the carpet is a royal/electric blue and black tweed. It's been there for over 20 years and has gotten rained on, walked on, etc. Time to go!
I bought an "area rug" for the patio - 5 feet by 3 feet. It won't cover the entire area, but there are places that need no covering. There are two mats there that are a softer blue than the carpet, so I might keep those. I also bought a new mat for the front of the door/entry to the apartment. (The old one was VERY faded.) They were both on sale - I saved about 85 cents!!! Wooo..
Since the chaise I'd bought was an olive brown, I bought a tan/light brown carpet.
I did notice that flat screen televisions at Target are about $200 for a 15 inch one. I guess I have to go to Target in NYC to buy myself a new television for my bedroom there!

Target has some nice items. It's a nice place to shop.
Mostly, but I can never find plus sized cloths for women in target, and have to shop the mens department for the large sizes I need.
Target used to have a very nice plus size department. They must have discontinued it.
I would think that different stores carry different items. I bought a wonderful blouse - size 22 - should be too large, but isn't.
But that was in a Target in NYC.
I don't think I have the patience to wait for $50. I'm not sure I'm ever even going to make it to $25. -grin-
I hate waiting, but the $50 card is a better value point wise - it's not double the points for double the value.
I also am saving points through mypoints and thankyou networks... So I basically get three different cards each year. Sometimes 4 if I am lucky.
Target does have some neat stuff I got lots there for Christmas for my kids
we do do target sometime yet I am a Walmart die hard Sorry
After reading Nickeled and Dimed... I decided Wall*Mart would be the last store I'd shop in.
I much prefer Target over Walmart or Kmart.
I even prefer it to the quality of Bed, Bath and Beyond - the towels and bath mats are MUCH better.
I like target.
